The Roy Bailey Big Band was formed over 30 years ago in Goring, South Oxfordshire and has been playing regularly at local events ever since.  The band plays a variety of music; ranging from the Big Band classics of Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington and Count Basie, through the vocal world of  Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Ella Fitzgerald and on to more recent arrangements of artists such as Caro Emerald, Christina Aguilera and Gordon Goodwin.  

 

The band is formed of local musicians representative of both youth and experience and we are always delighted to receive enquiries from anyone who might be interested in joining us, either regularly, or to form part of the Roy Bailey Band extended family. We all share one thing - a love of performing great music - and which we strive to do to the best of our abilities.
