About

The Roy Bailey Big Band was formed over 30 years ago in Goring, South Oxfordshire and proudly plays a wide variety of big band music; ranging from the Big Band classics of Duke Ellington and Count Basie to arrangements of the Great American Songbook, classic movie themes and arrangements for big band from the world of pop, rock and funk.

The band is formed from local musicians representative of both youth and experience and we are always delighted to receive enquiries from anyone who might be interested in joining us, either regularly, or to form part of the Roy Bailey Band extended family. We all share one thing - a love of performing great music - and which we strive to do to the best of our abilities.

Do come along to a gig and see for yourselves and of course please get in touch if you would like to book the band or were interested in helping to cover for absences.
